Their carpenter was very nice and went above and beyond at all points despite the door being more difficult than expected.Posted on Google Cami MyersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At the end of December 2025, we encountered a major renovation requirement in one of our basement bedrooms. This work entailed gutting the room and prepping it for complete renovation - no easy task considering the work is in Anniston versus the Birmingham metro community. That said, materials had to be moved to and staged at our home. The entire Little Cahaba Construction team from demolition to restoration has exceeded our expectations. Cordial, professional, knowledgeable and personable describe every member of the teams with whom we’ve been in contact. Antoine and Tyler are two of particular note. They’re the quality of employee that owners and managers in the construction industry hope to find and retain. Thanks for jobs well done.Posted on Google Bonnie GreeneTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. On the Monday before Christmas I found my water heater leaking water all over my utility closet. Little Cahaba was recommended to me by a close friend and I could not be grateful they were! I got in touch with Regina and someone was at my house within 45 minutes to check it out. I was nervous it would be after Christmas before it was fixed but Little Cahaba was out first thing the next morning and had a new water heater installed not even 24 hours from me finding the leak! Ronnie and his partner were great guys, very friendly and so quick. When I got the invoice I was shocked by how reasonable the price came out to. You can trust I will be calling Little Cahaba the next time I have an issue with my house!Posted on Google Noah FergusonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Little Cahaba found a major leak under our house while installing a new moisture barrier in the crawlspace. They quickly assessed the damage and advised us on next steps to fix the damage. The leak was extensive enough to require a total gut and rebuild of our kitchen. They got the design and materials ordered quickly and the project only took 4 weeks from start to finish. That 4 weeks included structural repairs, as well. I appreciated that we never went days without anyone working on our project; they had work being done every single day to get us back in our home as quickly as possible. They have since come out for a few smaller jobs and are always willing to take a look at anything I am concerned about. They are life savers and I will always appreciate their support during a very stressful time.Posted on Google Rebecca MosleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paint is the least expensive way to make a noticeable difference in a home, and it is also the easiest project to get wrong. Most of the paint jobs that fail early were not failed by the paint. They were failed by the prep — glossy surfaces that were never scuffed, caulk joints that were skipped, bare wood that was never primed, or a coat applied over dirt, chalking, or trapped moisture. Little Cahaba Remodeling treats prep as the actual work and the color as the reward. We wash, scrape, sand, patch, caulk, prime, and mask before a finish coat goes on, and we tell you up front what condition your surfaces are in rather than painting over a problem you will pay for twice. Interior and exterior painting is available on its own or as part of a larger remodel, and as a local home remodeling services company serving Birmingham, Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Hoover, and nearby communities, we know how Alabama humidity, sun exposure, and pollen seasons affect the way coatings wear here. Whether you are refreshing one room, repainting cabinets and trim, updating a whole interior before you move in, or repainting siding and eaves that have not been touched in a decade, we plan the work so your household keeps functioning while it happens.

A good paint job should still look good in five years. Little Cahaba Remodeling focuses on the parts of painting that most homeowners never see — surface preparation, the right product for the surface, and clean, protected work areas.
Washing, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming determine how long the finish lasts. We prep first, show you what we found, and repair the surface before we paint it.
Bathrooms, ceilings, cabinets, trim, siding, and masonry all need different products and sheens. We select coatings for the surface and the exposure, not for whatever is cheapest by the gallon.
Floors covered, furniture moved and wrapped, hardware removed, edges cut clean, and the site cleaned each day. You should be able to live in the house while we paint it.
Painting should be the easiest project you hire out, not the messiest. Little Cahaba Remodeling keeps the work organized with a clear scope, straightforward pricing, and consistent updates so you always know which rooms or elevations are being worked on and when we will be finished.
Homeowners usually have questions about timing, cost, color, and how much disruption painting causes. These answers cover what Birmingham homeowners ask us most before a painting project starts.
