How do I know I can trust the people working in my home?

We know the tremendous responsibility it is to handle our customers’ repair or remodeling needs. And we know that you need to be able to trust us the folks we hire to work in your home.

In this blog post, we want to walk you through what goes into ensuring you can trust us to do the job right and with integrity.

What we’re about to discuss comes directly from our team. This post was written by a person, and it comes directly from our leadership team.

What qualities do you look for before hiring someone to join your team?

We hire folks who are positive, prompt, professional, and moral (i.e., they would never steal). They must be good communicators, too.

As a leadership team, our view is, if we wouldn’t let someone we hire into our respective homes, we won’t let them into yours. This goes for both our employees and our subcontractors.

Why do you invest so much time in hiring the right people?

Investing time hiring the right people allows us to deliver the maximum amount of value to you when you hire us. We don’t take for granted that you are paying us to do a job and manage it through completion.

So, it’s important that you know you can trust our team to get the job done without needing to be micromanaged. And if you have questions about your project, we want you to be able to trust the answers from our team of professionals.

How do you make sure the people working in my home are trustworthy?

Everyone we hire as employees goes through a thorough vetting process to ensure they are trustworthy.

To ensure the trustworthiness of folks we hire on a project-by-project basis (i.e., subcontractors), we make sure to get references. These references come from builders, vendors, or other remodelers. If we see any red flags, we don’t consider them.

And if a subcontractor or employee does something shady, they’re fired on the spot. Fortunately, we haven’t had to do this in years.

How do you make sure every team member meets your standards?

We hold everyone that works with us to the same high-quality expectations. To make sure they’re actually meeting these expectations, we document the quality of each job throughout the remodeling or repair process. This is key to ensuring our standards are consistently met.

How important are communication skills when you’re hiring someone?

Communication skills are of the utmost importance. We don’t hire people who don’t communicate well, and we certainly don’t use subcontractors who don’t prioritize communication.

How do you make sure your team treats my home with respect?

We make sure to constantly communicate with you throughout the project. If needed, we use plastic and Ram Board to protect your floors and furniture.

Wrapping Up

We hope this post helps you understand how much we value the trust of our customers and what we do to earn it. And we hope it gives you a better sense that you can trust our team to work on your next repair or remodeling project.
